- Switch the machine off with its button. Then pull the plug out of the wall.
- Look at the drain hose. Check it is not bent or kinked, and straighten it if it is.

- E18 still shows and the water will not drain after you have checked the hose.
- The drain pump may be faulty. Bosch says this is the likely cause if the water still will not pump out.
- Water leaks from the machine, or you cannot get the water out of the drum.
