What GoodHand costs

GoodHand earns no money, from customers or from pros.

GoodHand earns no money

Nobody pays GoodHand. This is what that rules out:

  • No fees, for customers or for pros.
  • No commission on any job.
  • No ads.
  • No paid placement: nobody can buy a higher rank.
  • No selling of leads: a request goes to the pros the customer chose, and to nobody else.
  • No selling of data.

Your price is between you and the pro

The pro sets their own price. You agree it with them before work starts. The money goes between you and the pro, and GoodHand never takes a cut.

Who pays for running it

The servers, email and AI reading cost money every month. The people who build GoodHand pay that themselves. If that ever has to change, this page says so first.

What each side pays

  • Customers pay nothing to search, ask pros about a job, or book one.
  • Pros pay nothing to have a page, receive requests, send offers or keep a record.
  • Agents pay nothing to use the API or MCP tools.

Limits that keep the record honest

Listing past jobs is free up to 200 a day per pro. A confirmation that comes from the pro's own phone or network does not count.

For the technically curious

The numbers on this page are generated from the code at commit 49574b3fc41b.

GoodHand does not take payments. There is no checkout, no card form and no payment provider in the code. A customer and a pro settle the price between themselves. GoodHand only records the price each side says was paid, to show price ranges.

Ranking has no paid input. Here is the formula: score = shrunk × (0.6 + 0.4 × reply rate) × 1 / (1 + distance in km / 10), where shrunk blends the weighted count of the pro's confirmed jobs with the city average. No field in it records a payment, a plan or a promotion.
