Try first

1. Turn off the water tap to the machine so no more water can flow in.
2. Switch the machine off with its button. Then pull the plug out of the wall.
3. Look at the drain hose. Check it is not bent or kinked, and straighten it if it is.

Call a pro if

• E18 still shows and the water will not drain after you have checked the hose.
• The drain pump may be faulty. Bosch says this is the likely cause if the water still will not pump out.
• Water leaks from the machine, or you cannot get the water out of the drum.
